International Holocaust Remembrance Day is January 27th. That is a day we remember the victims of the Holocaust.
We are reminded that 6 million people of the Jewish population and 2 million Romani people were killed. It is also noted that 250,000 mentally and physically disabled people and 9,000 homosexual men were killed as well.
I have attached an interesting documentary explaining this act of genocide. As professional counselor’s, it is important to understand cultural differences, and that includes religion.
As you view this documentary, what are your thoughts?
Please reflect and share your comments with the class.
